About

Thomas Farrenkopf

Graduate Student/Teaching Assistant/Content Creator/ Videographer/ Photographer

With nearly two decades dedicated to diverse blue-collar roles, I embarked on a transformative journey back to academia, driven by a desire to redefine my societal role. My educational journey commenced at Portland Community College, where, over two years, I garnered multiple associate degrees in video production and multimedia. Subsequently, I devoted an additional two years to earning a Bachelor of Science degree at the esteemed University of Oregon, complemented by a minor in sociology.

I am immersed in the dynamic environment of the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts, pursuing a Master of Arts degree in Cinema and Media Studies. As I navigate this exciting chapter, my sights are set on the horizon, with aspirations to pursue a doctoral degree in the realm of cinematic arts. I am fueled by a passion for contributing my keen insights to this captivating world of artistry. The trajectory of my journey underscores a commitment to continuous growth and meaningful contributions to the field.
